Talise Beach

Palu is a city that located in the province of Central Sulawesi and it has numbers of destinations. One of them is Talise beach. The beach is located at Jalan Rajamoili and Jalan Cut Mutia, East Palu District, Central Sulawesi province. Talise beach is taken from a Kaili word meaning Ketapang. According to local people, long time ago there were many ketapang trees on this beach and become the name of Talise Beach (Ketapang Beach).

The beach that lies for about 2 km to the north of Palu city have become one of the tourist destinations because the access is easy to reach, low cost and offering good view on the beach. In addition to access to the site is so easy, at this beach visitors also do not have to pay the entrance fee or admission ticket or free. The beach is stretches from the town of Palu to Donggala with very charming panoramic and beauty of the expanse bay and mountains that is very exotic. Visitors can also perform water activities such as swimming, windsurfing, diving, fishing, and other.

At noon, the visitors can enjoy the magnificent sun that sets among Gawalise Mountain that located near to the beach. At night there are more tourists that come to this beach to see the sparkling lamps around the beach.

Talise beach is can be reach easily from downtown Palu. From Mutiara airport, we can use land vehicles to go to Talise beach that only takes 4 Km.
