Lombongo Waterfall in Bone Bolango Regency, Gorontalo Province

The location is secluded, so it is not as popular as other tourist sites in Gorontalo. However, the waterfall resides in the midst of Bogani Nani National Park forest! That means visitors have the chance to conduct a perfect exploration when heading to the waterfall later.

Exploring Lombongo Waterfall

Later, after exploring the waterfall, tourists must visit the famous Bogani Nani Wartabone National Park, too! The purpose is to watch various animals and fertile wild floras! According to the locals, hundreds of species of birds live in that area! Thus, don’t forget to carry a camera for taking photos of these animals during the exploration!

How to Get There
The prime destination is indeed Gorontalo Province and the best way to get there is by airplane. For instance, a flight from Soekarno – Hatta International Airport at Jakarta City to Jalaluddin Airport may take around 3 hours at least.
Later, once tourists arrive at the airport, they can simply use Trans Sulawesi Street and head to Bone Bolango Regency where the waterfall is located. The distance is 47.3 km so this trip may take around 1 hour and 21 minutes. Those coming from Gorontalo City, in this case, can take Batu Doa Street and head to the waterfall right away. The distance is 50.7 km so the trip would take about 1 hour and 39 minutes.
