Kasambang Beach in Mamuju Regency, West Sulawesi Province

Beaches are abundant in Mamuju Regency and have made the region more popular among tourists these days. One of them is located in Tapalang Sub-District and the name is Kasambang Beach. As the name suggests, the beach resides in Kasambang Village. Actually, the location is near to the border between Mamuju and Majene Regency. Due to serene nuance and nice facilities, the beach has become a new recommended spot to spend a family recreation these days in Indonesia. Visitors can play on the shoreline, relax under trees, and swim in the sea comfortably!

The Nuance
As mentioned before, the nuance feels serene in Kasambang Beach. It is because the number of visitors is not as many as other beaches. Despite the fact, more people are seen during weekends and in the afternoon. The shoreline is long and has a black exotic sandy landscape. In the back, tourists may see some benches under trees, as well. Located near to that area, some parked fishermen boats can be found too. What about the sea? The waves are calm and the contour is considered stable. Thus, everyone (including kids) is allowed to swim and play water in it.

Exploring Kasambang Beach
Kasambang has become a nice vacation destination to enjoy a family recreation. Both local government and villagers took good care of the site and conducted several improvements. These days, the beach becomes cleaner and more comfortable to explore. As for tourist activities, visitors usually enjoy relaxation and sitting under nearby trees. Lots of species of trees grow in this area, after all, including Kamani, Baringtonia, and Ketapang.

Under those trees, tourists may find some benches for relaxation. Usually, local villagers would sit there while reading their favorite books. Aside from benches, this area features tables as well. It feels like spending family recreation in a private park! The most crowded time is indeed on weekends and Sunday. Nearby local families would gather with friends and enjoy reading there. As for tourists, they can also join these people and make some new friends!

Another popular thing to do in Kasambang Beach is definitely swimming. The good news is that the sea has calm waves and friendly contour. That means playing water and swimming can be done safely. Still, parents should supervise their kids well during the activity. It is better not to swim too far in the midst of the sea, as well. As an alternative, beach walking becomes a more casual and safer activity to do instead of swimming. Don’t you think so?
