Kayuni Waterfall
Kayuni Waterfall is one of the waterfalls in Fakfak Regency, West Papua Province which is administratively located in Kayuni Village, Kramomongga District. Kayuni Waterfall has cold water and a torrent of water flowing from mountainous areas with unspoiled tropical rain forests. It takes 1 to 2 hours from the center of Fakfak City to reach the location of this waterfall in the Kuagas area of Kramomongga District, Fakfak Regency.
Kayuni Waterfall has an unspoiled tropical rainforest ecosystem with forest cover that still quite dense with the Mbaham mountains view and is a home for various types of birds and one of them is the King of Cenderawasih, but now its existence is difficult to find because forest encroachment has begun.
Located on the sidelines of rocky cliffs, clear and cool water is complemented by panoramic view of the green of the surrounding trees, make it beautiful and cannot found anywhere else. Kayuni Waterfall is one of the 'princess' for Fak Fak. This waterfall will be crowded with visitors when the weather is favorable and on Saturdays.
Kayuni Waterfall empties directly into the sea. From the top of the bridge, visitors can see the flow of the waterfall that falls and mixes with sea water. It is located on the side of the road in the district, so it is easy to reach. However, during the rainy season, you should avoid entering and walking in the river area because floods often come suddenly and can wash away visitors. However, if the season is not rainy, visitors can walk inward, take a closer look at the flowing water that fall into the sea. If visitors want to take a shower and jump to the top it is allowed, but not in the part of the waterfall that leads to the estuary.

How to get there?
Kayuni Waterfall, which is located in Kampung Kayuni, Kramomongga District, can be accessed easily from the center of Fakfak City because it is close to the main road and only takes one to two hours to travel using two-wheeled and four-wheeled vehicles. This waterfall is also very easy to reach for taking pictures because it is enough to stand in front of the main road, the view of this waterfall is visible with a beautiful and soothing panorama. During the trip, visitors will feel cool with the shade of the trees and the enchanting birdsong.
