Nusrowi Island

Teluk Cenderawasih National Park is located in five regions and two provinces including Teluk Wondama Regency and Manokwari Regency in West Papua Province and Nabire Regency, Yapen Regency, and Waropen Regency in Papua Province. The national park area consists of 18 islands which are divided into several zones. They are Nuburi, Papaya, Nutabari, Kumbur, Anggromeos, Kabuoi, Rorado, Kuwom, Matas, Rouw, Iwaru, Rumarakon, Nusambier, Maransabadi, Nukup, Paison, Numerai, and Wairundi.

Teluk Cendrawasih is a paradise for divers. In this protected National Park area, there are several islands frequently visited in Teluk Wondama district: Rumberpon Island, Nusrowi Island, Mioswaar Island and many beautiful beaches. Apart from Rumberpon Island, other exotic diving spots are on Nusrowi Island. The dive spot here is also one that is friendly to the beginner divers.

Nusarowi Island is located northwest of Rumberpon Island, Wondama Bay Regency. This small island has about 4 hectares area surrounded by shallow waters and full of coral reefs and various types of ornamental fish. You can also see other marine commodities such as grouper, sea cucumber, and lobster.

In this place you can do activities that you like, including diving, observing coral reefs and various ornamental fish, and fishing. In the island, there are beautiful coral reefs decorated with small fish surround it. The tourists who come to this island do a lot of activities, like swimming, playing water on the beach, diving by enjoying the charm of the amazing coral reefs and others.

How to get there?
If you want to visit the island, you can cross from Rumberson Island. You can cross by longboat on Remborson Island for about 1.5 hours. In addition, if you depart from Ransiki, you can reach it by longboat in about 1.5 hours.
