Teluk Wondama Regency is famous for its world-class marine tourism objects. Density of coral and stretch of white sand seems to be a common sight in the waters of Teluk Wondama. However, there is one other interesting thing, namely Aitumeiri Hill which holds the story and civilization of the Papuan people. A hill located in the Wasior District area. The historical part gave it the name Bukit Aitumieri, a place that is believed to be a witness to the early history of Papuan civilization.

The hill, whose peak can be reached in two hour drive, has beautiful views. The expanse of blue sea in the distance against the background of floating clouds. The island on the other side looked like a green giant sleeping soundly. Many people have told about the hill. In fact, at that location there are several historical sites, including; civilized stone, inspirational stone and an old school building which was founded by Isyak Samuel Kijne, an evangelist or missionary hundreds of years ago.

From this historical place, an educational forum that known as Aitumeiri School was born. This school is at the foot of a hill, with six students. They study together by sitting on neatly arranged stones. These stones were later referred to as the Stones of Papuan Civilization.

The site that located the farthest away is the inspiration stone. The stone is said to be the seat of Isyak Samuel Kijne in contemplating, looking for ideas or inspiration about the progress and civilized Papuan society in the future. The beauty of Teluk Wondama is clearly visible from the top of the inspiration rock on Aitumeiri hill. The view of the reddish-yellow twilight sky over the opposite island, looks so beautiful and charm. Civilization Stone and inspiration stone are complement the natural beauty.
