Mee tribe
The Mee Tribe Village is one of the village tourism sites that you can visit while on holiday in Dogiyai. The Mee Tribe Village is located in Idakebo Village, North Kamu District, Dogiyai Regency, Central Papua Province. The Mee Tribe inhabits the entire Kamu region. This tribe still lives an ancient lifestyle, using Koteka as clothing and living in the Honai House. They survive by farming. Some of the plants they usually grow are bananas, tubers, and vegetables. The people of the village usually communicate in two languages as a lingua franca. The two languages are Bahasa Indonesia and the Mee language.
