Kediri has an old church building with unique architecture. Built in 1904 by a Dutch citizen named Emmanuel, hence the church called Emmanuel Church, but the locals Kediri often call the Red Church, beside the beautiful Red church also save ancient bible of Dutch language publication in 1867.
The Church was located at Jl. KDP Slamet 43 Kediri in the heart of Kediri city. Looks so majestic and classic architecture with typical Dutch heritage buildings. However, the unique of the building, the church color is red, so it is very striking, but has its own beauty.
The church as the one of the oldest church in the Kediri city. Although 101 years old, seen form the physical condition of the Red church is old but still looks so strong. The church currently has the color red brick building has not been renovated at all.
This uniqueness of building is considered to have the value of historical and architectural value. For this reason, the building was labeled Cultural Heritage Kediri by the Institute for Preservation of Cultural Heritage (BPCB) East Java.
