Mount Argopuro is one of the mountains which are included in hyang mountain complex. It has an altitude of about 3088 meters above sea level with some peaks on it. The famous peak is Rengganis peak while the highest peak is Argopuro peak. The mountain is very famous for its mystical, in believing mystery Rengganis goddess legend with the sixth lost her ladies.
Administratively Mount Argopuro included in the three districts namely Probolinggo, Jember and Situbondo.
There are three hiking trails that can be used, are Bremi route via Probolinggo, Baderan route via Situbondo and Tancak route via Jember. The more frequently used by climber is Bremi and Baderan route, while Tancak route is very rare traversed since the distance is very long climb that takes about a week to reach the top.
