Barane Beach in Majene Regency, West Sulawesi Province

A vacation in West Sulawesi Province would be a new experience for most tourists, especially those who live outside Sulawesi Island, no? In this case, Majene Regency becomes a nice destination to visit. It is the home of many stunning beaches, including the one called Barane Beach! The location is in Baurung Village and it belongs to East Banggae Sub-District. For the locals, this beach has become one of their favorite places to spend a family recreation. It is because visitors can find many comfy facilities and features in that area. Not to mention the sea looks stunning there. Here is further discussion about the beach.

The Nuance
Due to the popularity, Barane Beach has a high number of visitors. This explains why the nuance feels so fun and merry. These people consist of both locals and outsiders (tourists). As for the most crowded time, it is either during holidays or weekends. What about the shoreline? The length is moderate and it features light-brown sandy landscape. In the back, tourists may see lots of gazebos, installed neatly, as well! The next good feature is the presence of lush trees behind the gazebos. No wonder, the atmosphere feels so rejuvenating there.

Exploring Barane Beach
So, what become the reasons for visiting Barane Beach? When spending a vacation in Majene Regency, most tourists would drop by on this beach for its nuance! That means they want to watch sea scenery, waves, and other available features. Most visitors are local families and kids who want to spend recreation and relaxation, actually. The good thing is that the beach also features some rides and kid playground!

As mentioned before, Barane Beach comes with several gazebos. That means visitors can simply sit on it while watching sea scenery. Have no worries. Many gazebos are available, so there is no need for queuing. Here is another idea. Visitors must carry foods and drinks to the beach. The purpose is to conduct eating together with families on the gazebos. As an alternative, they can roll out a mat and enjoy the foods on the shoreline!

What about swimming? Well, it is considered safe, as long as tourists do it during the low tide. At the time, even kids can swim on the beach safely! Still, parents must supervise them well during the activity. As for safer activities, visitors can enjoy camping instead! It is because some parts of the beach are suitable to build a tent (which is under coconut trees and on grassy land). One thing, there is no rental service, so tourists must carry their tent and other required equipment to enjoy the activity.
