Kawah Ijen Crater Tour Package 2 Days / 1 Night

Ijen Plateau is the biggest crater lake in Java. It is about 200 meters deep and contains about 36 million cubic meters of steaming acid water, shrouded in a smelling swirling sulfur cloud. Indeed the crater of Ijen is beautiful garden of stone as well. The principal attraction at Ijen is the large Crater Lake that has much sulfur, which lies hidden between sheer walls of deeply furrowed rock. The Ijen crater it self lies at about 2,300 meters above sea level. It forms a twin volcano with the now extinct Mount Merapi.

Itinerary:

Day 01: SURABAYA AIRPORT – MOUNT IJEN CRATER
Arrival in Surabaya airport, go direct to Ijen Bondowoso with about 8 hours driving, lunch on the way at local restaurant. Arriving in Ijen (Sempol village) and fell the local atmosphere. Check in Hotel and continued with dinner and stay overnight.

Day 02: IJEN TOUR – DROP OFF SURABAYA

Wake up in the early morning and go direct to Ijen plateau with about 45 minutes drive. Accompanied with the guide and tell you more information about Kawah Ijen. Arrive at Paltuding, breakfast for a moment and start trekking to Ijen crater with about 1.5 hours or 2 hours. Arrive on the top and enjoy the beautiful scenery in Ijen with many workers and sulfur which is coming out from the tube. Relax and take pictures about Ijen.
The journey continued by back to the start and transfer back to the hotel.
Check out from the hotel then transfer out to Surabaya Airport. Tour end!
