Bromo Java Tour (3 Days/ 2 Nights)

Day 1: South of Bali – Banyuwangi – Kalibaru (D)
Early morning departure from Bali to the direction of Gilimanuk harbour, for short (1 hour) ferry crossing to East Java. Upon arrival at Ketapang harbour at East Java, directly drive to the 43,420 acres of Alas Purwo National Park. The tour to the 43,420 acres of Alas Purwo is an outstanding experience to observe the pristine tropical low-land rainforest as well as mangrove on the other side of national park.
Visit the Ngagelan Beach (turtle sanctuary), Pura Giri Salaka (an old Hindu temple), Sadengan (the observing tower) and Trianggulasi Beach. If there is a chance, you may see Banteng/Javanese Bull (Bos Javanicus), Green Peafowl (Pavo Muticus), and Indian Deer (Muntiacus muntjak) in the wild. Depending on weather, additional trip to mangrove forest can be arranged, as well as a river ride by typical traditional fisherman boat.
Drive to Kalibaru for overnight.

Day 2: Kalibaru – Bromo (BLD)
The tour continued after breakfast, make a short visit to a local plantation in Kalibaru where coconut, nutmeg, coffee, pepper and cloves are grown. The agro resort where you stay overnight is a perfect combination of tourism and plantation interests, where people enjoy the true living in the village and learn the wide varieties of plants and tropical flowers.
Drive to Bromo through Pasuruan, a city is notable mainly for its impressive architecture. It was developed centuries ago as a center of plantation crop production, mainly sugar. Arrive Bromo in the evening, overnight in Bromo.

Day 3: Bromo – Surabaya – Bali (BL)
Early morning prepare yourself for the incredible experience of sunrise over Mount Bromo. Travel by jeep to find yourself standing on the razor’s edge of Mount Bromo’s active crater. As Bromo smoulders beneath your feet, the full scale of the terrain slowly becomes apparent as night becomes day. Around you is a primordial volcanic landscape, stretching to the distant Mount Semeru at 3,700 meters, Java’s highest peak. The upper slopes of this highland massif are home to some 40,000 people – the Tengger Javanese.
Return to hotel for breakfast and fresh up, then drive down to Surabaya to catch your flight to Bali or to next destination.
