Putri Asih cave is located at Mulyoagung village, Montong district, Tuban Regency, East Java. This cave is very beautiful and located at natural teak forest. Putri Asih cave is located 30 Kilometers from the center of Tuban city which is well known as a city of thousand caves.
Beautiful stalactite and stalagmite has never been touched by human. Even, there are still many stalactite and stalagmite which are life and still able to grow long. There is big bluish stalagmite like a shawl of princess. Because of that, the cave is named Putri Asih or Princess Asih cave.
Putri Asih cave is very interesting to be an adventure site. This cave has never been renovated. Even, its floor is still made of clay. So that it will be very difficult to go down the cave for those who do not have adventurous soul. The cave is 4 hectare wide and 250 meter long and has original ornaments, various colors and forms of stalactite and stalagmite.
You can visit Putri Asih cave by using your own vehicle or public transportation. If you take public transportation, you can start from Tuban bus Terminal to Montong. Along the way to Putri Asih cave, you will pass through rocky roads as long as 2 and a half kilometers while enjoying the beautiful scenery.
