The beauty of Matan Island with its unspoiled coral reefs
Matan Island Sorong Papua is a tourist spot in West Papua province. Matan Island, Sorong, Papua is located 16 km southwest of the city of Sorong. This small island is not that big. It's only about 5000 square meters or half a hectare and settled 8 miles west of Sorong City. One of hundreds of islands in the Salawati archipelago. It can be reached by outboard motorboat transportation. How to get there?
If you depart from Sorong City to Sar Doom Harbor then continue the sea journey to Matan Island, you will be charged per speedboat with capacities ranging from 10 to 15 people. The rental includes return and departure routes.
