Traditional Ceremony & Art

Arts developed quite well in Sampang Regency, either traditional or modern arts.

1. Traditional Arts cover:
   Folk Theater: Sandur/Sronen
   Vical: Mocopat/Sammaan
   Dance: Marwas, Topeng Getlak, Pecot (whip) dance, Fisherman dance
   Fine Arts: Production of Rajang Pale
2. Modern Arts covers:
   Band
   Dangdut music
   Keroncong
   Kolintang
   While the art that is congruent with religion covers: Samroh, Qosidah, Selawatan, Hadrah. Besides those arts that are alive and developed well in Sampang Regency as mentioned above, there is also special traditional art of Sampang that is still alive and well kept by the community.
