Menjangan Kecil Island

Menjangan Kecil island is having the best spot in Karimunjawa island, we can call it as free aquarium, where the beauty of the coral reefs are very remarkable and the small fishes are welcoming any travelers who swim here. The colorful fishes that live around Menjangan Kecil island has defeat fishes in snorkeling spot in Nusa Dua, Bali. If in Nusa Dua we must follow to to sea walker to able to play with fishes, on Menjangan Kecil island we just need to swim in the water or take a glass-bottom boat for great views presented in groups of black-and-white damselfish, flat yellow butterfly, angel whose head was blue but yellow tail, blue parrot base with yellow spots or metallic gray, puffer which can be bloated if fear and others.

The island which located about 15 minutes to the south of Karimunjawa island is often visited by many people for take a rest or lunch. Menjangan Kecil island has a coral reef shore (fringing reef) better than Menjangan Besar. Many tourists who rent a glass bottom boat to enjoy the marine park there. Coral reefs in this island is kind of Montipora Foliosa shaped leaves look like blooming with white, yellow, until golden between staghorn coral. Several red large rocks spread there and commonly used as a place to stand or rest when the visitors feel tired when they snorkeling.

Although Menjangan Kecil has completed with resort, but some part of the island are still virgin and nature with those coconut trees. Some of spots in this island are camping area.
