Cilik Island

Cilik / Kecil Island is settled in the east side of Karimunjawa island. The trip from Karimunjawa island takes about 2 hours by boat. There are snorkeling spot in left or right side of the island, with beautiful coral reefs and marine life. If you're lucky you'll see dolphins on the way to the island.
The island became part of the buffer zone of Karimunjawa National Sea Park. Cilik Island is one of eight islands that are used for marine tourism and fishing areas. As the name implies, the island is only about 2 acres width. There is a beautiful wooden pier for boats wishing to moor. When walking on the pier, dozens and even hundreds of fishes in various species visible swim under the pier which is very clear.
Fresh sea water and the clear sea lures you to immediately jump in and snorkel to enjoy the underwater scenery. A group of clown fish welcomed you and swim alongside without any fear of human presence. There is fascination when you hold bread and the fishes came when the bread crumbs are scattered. The colorful coral reefs are spread when you look down, popping colorful fish without any worries add the fun atmosphere.
