Menjangan Besar Island

Menjangan Besar island is the closest island to the main island, Karimunjawa. It only takes 5 to 10 minutes from the port. Menjangan Besar island is different with others islands which offers their beaches beauty to attract visitors. This Menjangan Besar island perform in different spot with its captive sharks.

This island is one of island that you must visit it. Because you will find the captivity of sharks, turtles and barracuda. Different with Kepulauan Seribu island (Thoussand Islands) which not allowed to enter the captivity, in Karimunjawa can swim with the sharks and turtles (better not to enter the barracuda pool because this fish is quite wild). If the visitors want to swim with the sharks, make sure that you're not bleeding. If those sharks not smell any blood, it is save to swim with them.
