Cemara Islands

Cemara island consist of 2 beautiful islands, Cemara Besar and Cemara Kecil.

Cemara Besar Island with 3, 5 hectares width is a protected island. It means that the landscape is very well preserved and still virgin. What can we encountered on this island? The first is the vast expanse of white sand. Most of the sand is submerged in water so as if forming a shallow swimming pool paved with sand. Well suited for swimming. White sand that jutting into the sea is appropriate areas for sunbathing and snorkeling, and enjoy the silence of nature which so soothing. To the middle, the surface of the clear water turns green, indicating that the water is protrudes. Here, soft-corals and hard-coral greet your arrival. Located near the beach, then to enjoy the coral reef, we simply use the snorkel equipment that can be rented. In the middle of this Cemara Besar island there is grove of fir spruce forest, but we can not enter because it is protected.

Cemara Kecil Island have same natural beauty with Cemara Besar island. Only, this island has an about 1, 5 acres area. This island is not inhabited. When your boat near this island, you have to get off the boat and walk on the sea because the island has no dock or resting because the waters around is very shallow. The beauty of Cemara Kecil island is very remarkable. The white sand encircling this small island. There is also spots for diving and snorkeling. It only takes 15 minutes to encircle this small island. Most of the 90 species of coral in Karimunjawa, can find around Cemara Besar island and Cemara Kecil island
