From Jayapura City (Sentani Airport), tourists’ first destination is Wamena Airport at Jayawijaya Regency. This flight takes only about 30 minutes, so don’t worry. If they come from Jakarta City (Soekarno – Hatta International Airport), the flight may take much longer which is approximately 10 hours. Later, after arriving at Wamena, their next destination is Honelama Village where the botanical garden resides. This can be done by any local transportation service. The distance is only 4.3 km, so the trip takes about 15 minutes. Also, the best route to take is Irian Street.
