Spot To Enjoy Lake Anggi Giji in the Arfak Mountains

The most beautiful spot to enjoy this lake is Kobrey Hill, which is above 2,000 meters above sea level. From Kobrey hill, tourists can see panoramic view of the lake surrounded by a stretch of ridge of the Arfak Mountains and the villages. At Kobrey Hill, the view of Anggi Giji Lake looks perfect. Some villages that you can see are Bamaha Village, Sororei Village, Kostera Village, Iraweri Village, and Anggi. A stretch of swampy landscape also seen around the Anggi District. The streaks of the ridge of Arfak Mountains should not be missed as a photo backdrop. There are lots of great viewpoints to take pictures of.
Kobrey Hill Spot is located at about 2,050 – 2,100 meters above sea level (masl), so you have to wear thick clothes and adequate jackets because during the day it will be cold. From Kampung Igbay or the town of Anggi District, Kobrey is about 1.5 kilometers or can be reached in about 30 minutes. Keep in mind that the route to Kobrey Hill is quite challenging with the contours of the road that climbs steeply and will be slippery when it rains. One of the villages near Kobrey hill is Kobrey Village which is located on the shores of Anggi Giji Lake. There are 7 rivers in Kobrey Village which originate from springs and empties into Lake Anggi Giji. Water for daily use. Farming activities around the house yard are very common in Kobrey Village. Some of Kobrey Village people depend on agriculture for their livelihood. The results are then marketed to Manokwari City. The types of agricultural crops that often encounter in yards include leeks, tomatoes, potatoes, and carrots.
