Historical Tour in Namatota

Kampung Namatota is a small village in Kaimana Regency, West Papua, which is directly adjacent to Triton Bay and in front of Bicari Bay. The sea around Kampung Namatota is home to a variety of marine life, making it a diver's paradise after Raja Ampat. The diversity of coral and fish species is not much different from Raja Ampat because the genetics of this marine biota have high connectivity (Conservation International, 2004). This village is known as the capital of Namatota Empire. The traditional kingdom of Namatota does not have a magnificent palace like other kingdoms but does have a King's House which is called the Traditional House. The King house is no longer inhabited by the king but is only used to store trinkets or accessories for the kings of Namatota. In addition, what can be witnessed from the rest of the kingdom is the family tomb which is located next to the mosque or right in front of the King's House.

The atmosphere around the site area is also beautiful. Several trees also grow there, can be used to rest for a while, or take shelter from the hot sun. How to get there?
