Yogyakarta Short Trip: Yogyakarta – Bebekan 2 Days/1 Nights

DAY 1: JOGJAKARTA – BEBEKAN
Pick up at your hotel in jogja, departs for jogja city tour : visit keraton, Taman sari, Traditional market, jogja National Museum. Lunch enroute. Proceed to Bebekan, welcome-drink young coconut with local cracker, observe the local way of living. Depart to visit Parangtritis, walk on the beach or up to the cliff to watch the sunset. Possibility to buy a fish cook for your dinner. Return back to Bebekan, meet the local artist making traditional masks, and home industy of dry-snack called “emping”. Learn the javaness music gamelan. Night Bebekan.

DAY 2: BEBEKAN – JOGJAKARTA
Traditional breakfast served overlooking the village and the rice-fields. Brief tour of the village where the villagers will invite you to have a cup of tea. Depart by “becak” to the surrounding village to observe traditional batik making or make your own motif. Return to Bebekan for your traditional lunch. After having bid farewell to your host and the small village, depart to Jogjakarta, stop en route at the small village of Kasongan, well-known for its potteries and observe the process of fabication of this Javanese handicraft. Continuation and drop-off at your hotel in Jogja or Jogja Airport.
