Heart of Central Java (5 Days)
This program is designed to explore the main interest in Central Java. Start by visiting the highland of Dieng plateu, enjoy the fresh water and along the way you will see the beautiful landscape with the tobacco and vegetables plantations. Drive around 3 hours to Magelang regency and visit Borobudur temple, the biggest Budhist temple that built in 8th century. Enjoy the beautiful sunrise from the top of Borobudur before move to Solo, on the way stop at Prambanan temple, the highest Hindus temple in Indonesia. See the antique collections at Radya Pustaka Museum then drive up to Sukuh temple that located at the hill side. Afterwards, drive to Yogyakarta and visit the Sultan palace (Keraton Yogyakarta), a grand and elegant example of Javanese architecture and learn the culture of Mataram.
Tour Itinerary:
Day 1. Jogja – Wonosobo
Upon arrive at Yogyakarta pick-up service and proceed drive to Wonosobo for around 4 hours. upon arrival check in at hotel for the night. free program at your own leisure. ( L ) Accommodation : Kresna hotel or seminar based on twinshare.
Day 2. Dieng Plateu – Borobudur
Breakfast at hotel then drive to Dieng plateu. enjoy visiting the ancient Hindu’s temples, the active volcanoes craters and the beauty of colorful lake. Back to the hotel for breakfast then drive to magelang and directy transfer to Manohara hotel. ( B,L) Accomodation : Manohara hotel or Similar based on twinshare.
Day 3. Borobudur – Prambanan – Solo
Wake up call at 04.00 then see the sunrise at Borobudur. continuing by explore the Borobudur temple. Breakfast at hotel, then proceed to drive to Solo via . On the way stop at view temple, Mendut and pawon temple also Prambanan temple. Late afternoon arrive at Solo and check in at hotel ( B, L ) Accommodation : Arini hotel or Similar based on twinshare.
Day 4. Solo – Sukuh temple – Yogyakarta
Morning breakfast at the hotel then continuing by visiting Radya Pustaka museum to see its’ large and antique collection. Then proceed to The Mangkunegaran palace that houses are fascinating display of gold plate and other ornament of jewelry, bronzes and wooden mask collection. On foot, extend the visit to the famous Triwindhu antique market, just opposite of the court building. Then get back on driving up to the eastward of Solo to get to the early 14th century’s Hindu remains located at the hill side. It is well-known as Sukuh temple. known as the only exotic and erotic temple in Java. Drive back to Yogyakarta for the night. Lunch and dinner at the local restaurant ( B,L,D ) Accommodation : 101 Hotel or similar based on twinshare.
Day 5. Yogyakarta sightseeing – Transfer out
Breakfast at hotel then drive the down town and visit royal Palace of Yogyakarta, officially named the ” Kraton Ngayogyakarta Hadiningrat “, a grand and elegant example of Javanese architecture, Tamansari -Water Castle, Batik and silver home Industry. Lunch at Local restaurant. Transfer to your own hotel or airport for next flight . (B,L ). End program.
