Cascade The Mahakam River Tour (5 Days/ 4 Nights)

Day 01: BALIKPAPAN, SAMARINDA, MAHAKAM
•   Upon arrival at Balikpapan airport
•   Meeting service and transfer to Loa Janan
•   Adventure on Mahakam River
•   Dinner provided and overnight on houseboat

Day 02: MUARA MUNTAI, MANCONG,TANJUNG ISUY, MUARA PAHU
•   Short sight seeing at Muara Muntai Wooden village
•   Cross to Jempang Lake by motor canoe to Mancong, a traditional ceremony by the Dayaq Benuaq, one of the Oldest Dayak Longhouse of East Kalimantan
•   Cross to Tanjung Isuy for sightseeing
•   Continue to Mura Pahu for dinner and overnight at Houseboat

Day 03: MUARA PAHU, DOLPHIN & BOLOWAN RIVER, UPSTREAM
•   Arrive at Muara Pahu, cruise up Bolowan river by canoe
•   Go to the black water peat swamp forest land of Jintan at the Delta of Semayang Lake, with the best opportunities to spot the fresh water dolphins around and move into the Bolowan River
•   Enjoy the exotic Kutai culture and pass the proboscis Monkeys Island, to spot these rare red endangered Borneo longnose monkeys closely
•   Continue upstream to Melak

Day 04: MELAK, EHENG, OMBAU ASA
•   Arrive in Melak then drive to Eheng to reach the old longhouse of Dayak Tunjung
•   Visit Kersik Luway and explore the forest
•   Visit to Ombau Asa waterfall, an exciting place for swimming
•   Return to Melak then board to the houseboat and downstream to Tenggarong

Day 05: TENGGARONG, BALIKPAPAN
•   Arrive at Tenggarong
•   Visiting the former palace of Sultan Kutai Kertanegara, see the Sultan’s impressive collection of heirlooms, ceramics Dayak’s art and culture items
•   Back to Balikpapan airport for your next destination
