Adventurous Mount Merbabu Camping & Trekking Tour 4 Days/3 Nights

Itinerary:

DAY 01. ARRIVAL YOGYAKARTA – PRAMBANAN & BOKO TOUR – HOTEL – SELO VILLAGE – MERBABU CAMPING (LD)
Meet and greet at Yogyakarta airport (Morning arrival recommended). Direct tour to Prambanan plain area to visit Prambanan temples complex, Sewu temples complex and Boko temple. Lunch served at local restaurant.Transfer to Yogyakarta town and check in hotel. Afternoon at 3 pm pick up service (at airport or hotel in Yogyakarta area). Direct drive to trekker’s base camp at Selo village located on the south saddle of Mt. Merbabu (2 hours drive). Upon arrival, preparation and start to experience trekking on Mt. Merbabu. On mid trek  up at 2500 m elevation before reaching the the highest peak, make tent and till midnight  continue your trek to reach the highest peak of Mt. Merbabu.

DAY 02. MERBABU TREKKING – SELO VILLAGE – YOGYAKARTA (BL)
By sunrise time reaching the Syarif Peak, the highest point on Mt. Merbabu (3.100 m ASL). From here you could could see the spectacular surrounding views while relax and enjoying hot tea or coffee. Spare few more time to satisfy your self before heading down (approx 4 hours) and return to the base camp at Selo village. Have simple breakfast at the base camp, pack up and drive back to hotel in Yogyakarta. Lunch served at local restaurant on the way driving back to Yogyakarta. Free program.

DAY 03. BOROBUDUR – YOGYAKARTA CITY TOUR – PARANGTRITIS BEACH (BL)
Morning after breakfast, depart to Borobudur area located 42 km NW of Yogyakarta, visiting Borobudur, the world’s biggest Buddhist temple and a UNESCO world heritage. Extra visit to Pawon and Mendut temple. Next, proceed Yogyakarta city sightseeing to visit Sultan Palace, Water castle, Batik and silver industry at Kotagede. Lunch served at local restaurant. Afternoon drive about 30 km of Yogyakarta visiting famous Parangtritis beach. Late afternoon return to hotel. Free program.

DAY 04. FREE PROGRAM – DEPARTURE (B)
Breakfast at hotel. Free program until check out from hotel and transfer to Yogyakarta airport (according to your flight schedule). End of service.
