Adventurous Merapi Volcano Trekking Yogyakarta 3 Days/2 Nights

Itinerary:

DAY 01. ARRIVAL YOGYAKARTA – PRAMBANAN & BOKO TOUR – HOTEL (L)
Pick up service at Yogyakarta airport (Morning & Afternoon arrival). Direct tour to visit Prambanan and Sewu temples. Lunch served at local restaurant. Also visit Ratu Boko located near Prambanan main temples. Transfer to hotel. Rest afternoon and easy program at your leisure. Evening at 10 pm recommended, proceed to Selo village (2 hours drive). It is a basecamp where you would start trekking on Merapi volcano. Arrive in Selo basecamp, preparation. At around (12:00 AM), start trekking up Merapi volcano (3 hours).

DAY 02. MERAPI VOLCANO TREKKING – YOGYAKARTA HOTEL (BL)
By sunrise time reaching the top of the Merapi. Relax at the top while enjoying the surrounding views. Then trek down (around 2 hours) heading to Selo village. Upon arrival at Selo village basecamp, have simple breakfast. Return to hotel in Yogyakarta. Free and easy program at your leisure.

DAY 03. BOROBUDUR – YOGYAKARTA CITY – DEPARTURE (BL)
Breakfast served at hotel. Depart to tour to Borobudur temple, the world’s largest Buddhist monument. Extra visit to Pawon, kitchen temple used for keeping holy water during Waicak ceremony procession and Mendut temple, the home to three huge Buddha statues. Next, sightseeing tour in Yogyakarta town visiting sultan Palace, Ngasem market, Tamansari, batik and silver industry. Lunch served at local restaurant before return to hotel. After check out from hotel, transfer to Yogyakarta airport. End of service.
