Rumah Pohon in Nusa Penida Island, Bali Province

More unique vacation spots are available for tourists to visit in Nusa Penida Island. One of them is called Rumah Pohon. The location is in Petinggian Street and it belongs to Kutampi Kaler Village. In terms of Indonesia name, “Rumah” means a house while “Pohon” means a tree. The locals also call it Rumah Pohon Batu Molentang, actually. The unique shape and comfy nuance are two main allure that tourists can enjoy in that location. Tourists can even rent it in order to spend a different vacation experience with their families.

The Nuance
As the name suggests, tourists may find a house built on a tree. The building is accessible and tourists can enjoy sightseeing and rest in it. The site also features various panoramas, including a beach, coral reefs, lush trees, and much more! What about the tree house? It features both stairs and bridge, so tourists can explore it safely. The view is indeed better from up there! In terms of size, the tree house has a size of about 4x4 meters. According to the management, the house is able to accommodate up to 5 people!

Exploring Rumah Pohon
Rumah Pohon is located on a highland and it faces directly to Atuh Beach. No wonder, the best thing to do is sightseeing. Tourists only need to find the right spot to witness beautiful panoramas up there. The best spot for sightseeing is, without a doubt, the terrace of the tree house. One thing, tourists need to get up to the house first before enjoying the scenery. Those who are afraid of heights are likely to avoid it, for sure.

Rumah Pohon consists of sturdy wooden stairs and neat ropes, so tourists can explore and enter the tree house safely. Once they get in, they can enjoy both sightseeing and photography right away. The best view is none other than Atuh Beach, so tourists must not forget to take photos of it later. One thing, the tree house can only accommodate 5 people, so tourists must queue when the number of visitors is high (especially during holidays). Here is the good news. Everyone is allowed to rent and spend the night in Rumah Pohon after paying the fee. They must book it first, though.

Spending the night in Rumah Pohon becomes a new experience for everyone. Later, in the morning, tourists have the chance to witness a mesmerizing sunrise on the horizon. The sun appears beautifully on the sea background! What a great panorama for sightseeing and photography.
