West Java Nature Trip 5 Days/4 Nights
DAY 01. CIKANIKI – CANGKUANG – KAWAH RATU – GARUT
After breakfast we drive back to Kabandungan and continue our trip to Cangkuang. It is one of entrance gate to Kawah Ratu, which also becomes a part of Gunung Halimun National Park. Take a rest for a while and having lunch at Cangkuang before continue trekking to Kawah Ratu base camp. Dinner and stay overnight in a tent. (B,L,D)
DAY 02. KAWAH RATU – CANGKUANG – GARUT
In the morning after breakfast, we take a short trekking to the crater of Kawah Ratu afterwards trek back to Cangkuang. We take a lunch then drive to Garut at the southern of Bandung. this land journey will takes 7 – 8 hours drive in normal traffic road condition. Stay Overnight at comfortable hotel in Garut. (D)
DAY 03. GARUT – QUEEN CRATER – TREKKING TO PONDOK SALADA CAMP
Transfer to Papandayan entry gate, then you will have to start trekking up the Mt. Papandayan pass through the active rim Crater, and Hot spring to reach Pondok Salada. It will takes 4 – 5 hours trek from the parking area. You will have stay overnight in tents at Pondok Salada base camp for aclimatization. (B, L, D).
DAY 04. SUMMIT MT. GEDE PAPANDAYAN – KAMPUNGNAGA – PANGANDARAN
Early morning proceed to the summit of Mount Papandayan (2,640 M) for about 2 – 3 hours walk. After you take picture then you will have descend down to base camp for have breakfast. At the appropriate time, you will transfered to Pangandaran. En route stop and Visit Kampung Naga (West java traditional village with unique culture) then directly go to Pangandaran beach on the south coast of Java. We travel through fantastic scenery area, arrive in Pangandaran at noon, then check in to the hotel.
Day 05. GREEN CANYON TOUR ( B )
After breakfast, visiting: Green Canyon (go up along the edge of green river by boat to see natural cave), one of the most famous tourist attraction in Pangandaran, then visit a little Village Batu Karas (aproximately an hour away from Pangandaran). Batu Karas offers a nice Beach for swimming and surfing. Afterwards, back to the hotel, free program. You can stay in the hotel or rest and relax on the Beach.
Day 06. FREE PROGRAM ( B )
Breakfast, free program. You can stay in the hotel or rest and relax on the beach or do an optional tour. Optional Tour Pangandaran National Park. Pangandaran National Park, home of hundreds Wild buffalo, Barking deer and other few species of animals. Country-side excursion to see the local people doing their daily fishing activities in the Eastern Pangandaran beach.
