South Sulawesi: Bada Valley Tour Package 10 Days/9 Nights
Day 01 : Makassar Arrival – Toraja (LD).
Upon arrive at Sultan Hasanuddin Airport Makassar, meet and greet with our guide then directly trip to Tana Toraja. The trip will be pass some regencies in distance of 310 km (it’s about 8 – 9 hour drive from Makassar). On the way you’ll enjoy the beautiful rice field, fish pool and the Traditional Houses of Bugisnese which is adorn on the right and left side of the main road. Lunch will be at Pare-pare, one of the regencies we passing by in the distance of 175 km from Makassar. After lunch the journey will be continue and will arrive in Tana Toraja at late noon, then check-in to hotel, Dinner at the local restaurant, free program.
Day 02 : Toraja Fullday Tour (BLD).
Buffet breakfast at hotel, starting Toraja tour to visit Ke’te Kesu (traditional wooden carving village and hanging grave), Marante (is a village where a lot of Tongkonan House, big paddy barns and big rocky hill containing hanging stone graves which the located called “Erong”), Bori menhir stones, soared up several meters above the land and then lunch at local restaurant, after wards continue tour to visit Pallawa (The most beautiful village with buffalo horns in front off their houses) and Lokomata (the boulder grave) then visit Sa’dan To’Barana, the traditional cotton weaving village. Afternoon back to the hotel, Dinner at the local restaurant, free program.
Day 03 : Toraja Fullday Tour (BLD).
Buffet breakfast at hotel, starting Toraja tour to visit Londa (the natural cave grave), Lemo The cliff-side stone grave with wooden effigies on the balcony, the royal family tombs at Suaya then lunch at local restaurant. Afterwards continue tour to visit Kambira (Baby grave) and Sangalla, village lying among the leafy bamboo trees and the tomb of King Sangalla. Afternoon back to the hotel, Dinner at the local restaurant, free program.
Day 04 : Toraja – Pendolo (BLD).
Buffet breakfast at hotel, check out then leaving to Pendolo via Palopo. Along the road from Tana Toraja to Palopo you can enjoy some spectacular views and natural scene, padi fiel and local people do it their activities. Lunch will be served at an-route. The trip will be take about 8 – 9 hour drive with few stops en-route for some interesting stuff. Upon arrive in Pendolo, a small town located on south shore of Lake Poso, check in hotel. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 05 : Pendolo – Tentena (BLD).
Simple breakfast at hotel, check out then visit orchide garden Bancea and Pamona Caves then visit Lake Poso and by ride a boat, crossing the crystal clear waters to explore around the lake. Lunch will be served en-route. Upon arrive in Tentena, check in hotel. Dinner and overnight at the hotel
Day 06 : Tentena – Bada Valley (BLD).
Simple breakfast at hotel, leaving to Lore Lindu National Park, by ride 4WD Jeep to reach Bada Valley its may take about 4 hour drive, the Bada valley is known for its mysterious megaliths and take time to trekking around the villages. Upon arrive at Bada Valley Check In at homestay at Bomba Village then Lunch with simple style. After lunch tour to visit the megaliths. Afternoon back to hotelstay, overnight, dinner will be at home stay with simple style.
Day 07 : Bomba – Tuare (BLD).
Simple breakfast at home stay, take a walk through the remote and rugged land of the megaliths at Tuare. We may across the Lariang river that runs the length of the valley and spanned by three suspension bridges. Visiting the megaliths Palindo along with several statues and many large stone vats at Sepe, Maturu and Oba. Lunch will be served en route, overnight in a local house at Tuare Village, dinner at local house with simple style.
Day 08 : Tuare – Tentena (BLD).
Simple breakfast at local house, check out then transfer to Tentena, the trip may take about 5 – 6 hour drive through buggy road. Lunch will be served en-route with simple style. On the way we will sto at Wera Saluopa waterfall, famous for its multi stepped waterfall. Upon arrive at Tentena, check in hotel, dinner at local restaurant.
Day 09 : Tentena – Parigi (BLD).
Simple breakfast at hotel, check out then transfer to Parigi at Tandaigi Village. Along the way you will enjoy rain forest and Coconut plantations approximately 6 – 7 hours drive passing through Poso town. Lunch will be served en-route. Upon arrive at Tandaigi Village, check in to the hotel/resort, free program, you may enjoy the beach while take a rest. Dinner at resort.
Day 10 : Parigi – Palu – Transfer Out (B).
Buffet breakfast at resort, check out than transfer to Palu airport for your flight to others destination, or to hotel in Palu. End tour.
