West Sumatera Overland Package: Padang Sidempuan – Bukittinggi – Pagaruyung 4 Days/3 Nights

Day 1: Breakfast at hotel. Then you cross back to Parapat where you depart for Padang Sidempuan. You will drive along the southern shores of lake Toba with its rice fields and Batak kings’ graves through the Toba highlands. Stop at Coffee, Clove, and pineapple plantation and Sipoholon Hot springs. You may also stop at the bank of Sarulla river near the nice view of rice terrace where you can do short walk. Early in the evening arrive in Padang Sidempuan. Check in hotel.

Day 2: Breakfast at hotel leave Padang Sidempuan for Bukittinggi the Minangkabau highlands brings you again right through the Bukit Barisan mountain ridge of Sumatra. It is an impressive tour in which you drive through a wall of tropical rain forest. On the way you will stop at Sihepeng to see the atraction of mongkey picking up the coconut and pepper, vanilla, cardamom and cinnamon garden. Then passing rain tropical forest of Rimba Panti and crossing equator line at Bonjol. In the evening arrive at Bukittinggi the charming town of Minangkabau tribe. check in to hotel.

Day 3: After breakfast at the hotel, you will go on a City Tour visiting Sianok Canyon, remnants of Fort De Kock, Jam Gadang (Big Clock) and Pasar Atas (Upper Market) for shopping. Then continuing on a  Day Tour covering visits to the Royal Palace of the ancient Kingdom of Pagaruyung, passing through Tabek Patah, Kiniko Home Industry, Batu Basurek (ancient writings on stone), and Batu Batikam. Then proceed to Lake Singkarak, the largest lake in West Sumatra. On the way, you stop at Ombilin River for sightseeing. In the afternoon, a drive to Padang, West Sumatra’s Capital. On arrival you check in a hotel.

Day 4: Breakfast at hotel. In the morning is free program until you will be fetched and transferred to the airport to catch you flight to next destination. Tour Ends.
