Tana Toraja Tour Package: Makassar-Toraja-Sengkang 6 Days/5 Nights

DAY 01 : MAKASSAR – RANTEPAO
Arrive in Makassar then transfer to Toraja by Fully Air-conditioned private car to take a drive-trip to Toraja Land with appproximately 8 hours trip taking across the Bugis Vilage with their typical houses on poles along the magnificent mountain passes. Lunch will be served at Bukit Indah Restaurant in Pare-Pare, a small port situated 155 kms north of Makassar.

Late afternoon arrive in Toraja directly check-in at Luta Resort for accommodation. (B, L)

DAY 2: TORAJA TOUR
After breakfast at hotel full day exploring Toraja Land, visiting The cliff-side stone grave with wooden effigies on the balcony at LEMO, The royal family tombs at SUAYA, The baby grave in the huge tree at KAMBIRA and Cultural performace at SANGALLA. Lunch will be served at local restaurant in Rantepao. After lunch, visiting the natural cave at LONDA and then proceed to the traditional wooden carving village at KETE KESU. Overnight at hotel. DAY 3: TORAJA TOUR
After breakfast at hotel. The second Fullday Excursion, visiting The most beautiful village with buffalo horns in front off their houses at PALAWA. The Traditional cotton weaving village at SA’DAN, The ancient megalithic stone at BORI and then proceed to SESEAN mount to view the large rice-field terrace at BATUTUMONGA and Lunch will be served on this spot. After Lunch, continue to visit the boulder grave at LOKOMATA and then, Take a nice nature-walk from PANA through the rice-field and some village down to TIKALA. From TIKALA village take a drive visiting Pangli, the stone statue of the dead man. Bori, the existence of megalithic grave. Parinding, the big wooden grave “erong” and cave. Singki, the horse Grave in the high position. Siguntu, the traditional village and rice barn.Back to hotel for overnight. (B, L)

DAY 4: TORAJA – SENGKANG
Drive to Sengkang, a small city to the south of Rantepao. We will need approximately 6 hours drive. Sengkang is a cool mountainous city in the hinterland of South Sulawesi, about 4 hours drive from Makassar. Not too far from the small city, is a small preserved lake with various kinds of birds and floating houses. we will paddle the dug out canoe to reach the center of the lake and to pay a visit to the local people dwelling. In the clear weather, the beautiful sunset is another attraction. Overnight at a small but clean and comfortable hotel in Sengkang (Hotel Ayu). (B, L)

DAY 5: SENGKANG – BIRA BEACH
Today we drive you to the beautiful Bira beach where you could enjoy some relax, swim on the beach, and else for about 6 hours driving. Dinner on your personal expenses. Overnight at a beach hotel (Bara Beach Hotel). (B, L)

DAY 6: BIRA BEACH – MAKASSAR AIRPORT
After breakfast at hotel in Bira, drive to the coast of South Sulawesi to reach Makassar to catch your flight back to your next destination. (B)
