West Java Nature Trip 5 Days/4 Nights

Day 01. ARRIVAL IN JAKARTA – TRANSFER TO BOGOR
Upon arrival in Soekarno-Hatta International Airport of Jakarta, meet & greet and direct transfer to Bogor which is located on the southern part of Jakarta – check-in and overnight.

Day 02. BOGOR – CIBODAS – KANDANG BADAK
After breakfast, transfer to Cibodas highland for about more or less about 1.5 hours. Upon arrival in Cibodas then walk uphill on the paved road next to a Golf Course to Cibodas Gate to start hiking under thick jungle canopy clearly marked trails with regular rest point for about 4 – 5 hours. Overnight in tents at Kandang Badak Campsite for acclimatization (L,D).

Day 03. KANDANG BADAK (2,400 M ASL) – SUMMIT PANGRANGO (3,019 M ASL ) – KANDANG BADAK – MT. GEDE SUMMIT (2,958 M ASL) – ACCLIMATIZATION
From the camp site, after breakfast commence the climb with Guide Team ascend the Summit of Mt. Pangrango (3,019 M ASL) by 2 hours time. Watch sunrise if arrive early. Then after photographing and enjoying the beautiful panorama then decent to Kandang Badak for 2 hours. From Kandang Badak commence the climb with Guide Team ascend the Summit of Mt. Gede (2,958m). Daybreak see the 3 semi-active craters, Lanang (male) Ratu (queen) and Wadon (female) and Rhododendron trees. Free time at your own leisure for acclimatization (B, L, D)

Day 04. MT. GEDE SUMMIT (2,958 M ASL) – ACCLIMATIZATION

Day 05. MT. GEDE SUMMIT (2,958 M ASL) – MT. PUTRI – KABANDUNGAN – CIKANIKI – CITALAHAP
Early in the morning from Summit of Mt. Gede (2,958 M ASL) return down to Kandang Badak Campsite for breakfast then continue descent to Gunung Putri. Arrive In Gunung Putri, transfer by a comfortable van to Kabandungan village, the entrance gate of  Gunung Halimun National Park. It is about 2 hours drive. After registration at Kabandungan office, we continue drive to Cikaniki research station for about 1,5 hours. Lunch will be served at Cikaniki. After lunch, we walk about 15 minutes to the canopy trail where we will enjoy the scenery around the jungle from a bird’s eye view. Afterward we continue to visiting Curug Macan waterfall where you can relax and plunge yourself in its cool waters. In the nearly evening, we go back to guesthouse and have a dinner. After dinner and rest for awhile we will do a night soft-trekking to watch glowing mushrooms. Back to jakarta, end of tour. (B,L,D)
