Rammang-Rammang Tour Village: Explore The Countryside of Makassar 2 Days/1 Nights

Rammang Rammang Tour Village, located in the north of Makassar city, for about 50 kilometers or 1,5 hours from Makassar which lies over 43,750 hectares between The Karst of Maros and Pangkep regency. Maros Pangkep Karst is the second biggest Karst mountain in the world after South China Karst in Yunnan. The uniqueness of Karst Maros Pangkep region can’t be found in other karst areas in Indonesia that you have to visit.
Day 1: Arrival at Makassar – Rammang-Rammang Tour (B,L,D)
Arrival in Makassar, meeting service and transfer directly to Rammang Rammang area. Before reach the Rammang Rammang port, first we will visit the stone tower garden. You’ll find the unique landscape and the typical of tower karst. In the region, limestone hills tower high with challenging cliffs. Arriving in Rammang Rammang Port, continue with a boat trip to discover the village. While crossing the river, we can enjoy the view of towering cliffs. The village has the beautiful landscape, there are the green rice fields surrounded by karst mountains, which keeps you busy if you love photography. You will also meet friendly local people who are working on their fields. We will visit one of the local people’s house to feel how peaceful and calm staying there. Continue with visiting Leang-leang is part of hundreds prehistoric caves scattered in the hills rock. Dated approximately 4,000 – 8,000 BC. You’ll find the signs of very old civilization stored in the cave. Not so far from Leang Leang, there is Bantingmurung National Park. The place for the Butterfly kingdom. This park has many butterfly endemics and famous as well with the Bantingmurung Waterfall. Late afternoon, transfer back to hotel for overnight.
Day 2: Makassar City Tour – Airport (B,L)
After breakfast at hotel, start your Makassar city tour by visiting Sultan Hasanuddin Tombs (a famous hero from Makassar which his name used as Makassar Interntional Airport name), Balla Lompoa (The palace for Kings of Gowa), Fort Rotterdam (a Ford of Makassar which are built on 1545), Paotere Harbour (a traditional harbour of Makassar), and The Famous Pantai Losari (Losari Beach). Lunch at Nelayan Restaurant (Seafood Restaurant). After lunch, transfer to Airport for your next destination flight.
