The beauty is undisputed and the atmosphere is peaceful enough for relaxation! Moreover, the location is quite near to the famous Samares Beach!

The Nuance
There is a certain reason why the locals also named it Blue Lake. It is none other than the blue color of the water. Aside from such astonishing color, the water has a perfect clarity! This explains why visitors can see underwater objects clearly from the land. The lake is surrounded by lush plants and trees. In fact, it is considered difficult to find the right spot for sightseeing and hanging out there. Not to mention the lake resides in the midst of a forest, so everyone needs to pass through wild nature in order to reach the location.

Exploring Wopersnondi Lake
It is true that Wopersnondi Lake is not quite famous among outsiders and foreigners. However, the locals have chosen it as one of the best vacation destinations in their region. As for tourist activities, the first thing to enjoy is the trip itself. It is because everyone should pass through a forest in order to get to the site. Shady tall trees, bushes, and other challenging landscapes await everyone there. In order to get a more efficient trip, tourists need to hire a local guide somehow.

According to the locals, it takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes to reach the lake from the nearby village by walking. For some people, this would be a tiring trip. For others, on the other hand, it becomes a new adventure for them. Have no worries. Shady trees would protect everyone from the heat of the sun! Not to mention all the tiredness goes away once they arrive on the lake.

A beautiful blue clear lake welcomes tourists on the site! It looks soothing and quite clear! Even though swimming is allowed, the lake is deep and not safe for kids, though. As an alternative, visitors can simply conduct photography and sightseeing. For the information, the name “Wopersnondi” means the man who jumps. The locals gave the name based on the fact that lots of men of Sepse Village often conducted cliff jumping in the lake back then.
