Flora & Fauna Barito Wild Orangutan Trekking Tour 4 Days

Day 01: Arrival in Palangkaraya, Batilap (LD)

Upon arrival at Palangkaraya airport, meeting service and directly transfer to Betung for about 4,5 hours driving passing pristine lowland forest with peat swamp landscape. Arrive at Betung we directly cruise upstream the Black Puning River to Batilap village for overnight on floating stilt house of local people.

Day 02: Batilap, Black Puning River (BLD)

After breakfast, we will trek into the jungle where we can to explore wild orangutans and other wildlife creatures as birds, sun bears, gibbons, including various flora vegetations of Borneo. In the afternoon, we cruise by canoe upstream deeper in Borneo ‘s Black Puning River with diverse wildlife such as proboscis monkeys, long tail macaques, birds and others are usually showing up. Lunch will be served en route, dinner and overnight on campsite on riverside.

Day 03: Black Puning River, Black Orchid (BLD)

After breakfast, continue cruising passing the canopy of the romantic Buntal River, which give is another opertunity for wildlife pleasure as many birds species, proboscis monkeys, long tail macaques, monitor lizards and other wild animals which show up along the riverside while the jungle trees pass away. Afterwards, proceed to Buntok town for check in to local hotel. In the afternoon, we will drive to Sanggu village to explore black orchid and wild flora species, including the carnivorous pitcher plants, to ending relax seeing the fascinating sunset at the lake. Return to hotel for overnight.

Day 04: Palangkaraya Departure (B)

Free at your own leisure till the proper time for transferring to airport for your next destination.
