Upon arrival at Ketapang harbour at East Java, directly drive to the 43,420 acres of Alas Purwo National Park. The tour to the 43,420 acres of Alas Purwo is an outstanding experience to observe the pristine tropical low-land rainforest as well as mangrove on the other side of national park.<br \/>\nVisit the Ngagelan Beach (turtle sanctuary), Pura Giri Salaka (an old Hindu temple), Sadengan (the observing tower) and Trianggulasi Beach. As Bromo smoulders beneath your feet, the full scale of the terrain slowly becomes apparent as night becomes day. Around you is a primordial volcanic landscape, stretching to the distant Mount Semeru at 3,700 meters, Java\u2019s highest peak.
