It will take about 1hr to 2 hour drives from Solo (depending on the traffic condition). On the way, stop visit will be made at Prambanan Temple. The Hindu temple of the \u201cslender virgin\u201d, also known as a complex of Lorojongrang, was erected in the 9th century while Java was ruled by the Hindu Sanjayas of Old Mataram in the north. It consists of three major temples\/shrines in the main area dedicated to respected Hindu\u2019s God Trinity such as Candi Shiva Mahadeva, Candi Brahma &amp; Candi Vishnu. Enough time is given to walk around and observe the beautiful carvings and the neighborhood shrines such as the Candi Palosan and The Candi Sewu. The Ramayana story is carved into the walls of the temples.<\/p>\n<p>Day\u00a0 2\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0YOGYAKARTA CITY TOUR<br \/>\nToday we will take you to visit the Sultan Palace Or \u2018Kraton\u201d, built in the grand and elegant Javanese architectural style, lies in the center of the municipality (Kraton is open from 08.00 a.m. to 02.00 p.m. except Friday closes at 01.00 p.m. and closed on national and kraton holidays). It was built in 1756 by Sri Sultan Hamengkubowono I., and is a model of traditional Javanese palace architecture. Up to now, the Kraton still serves as the Sultan Palace. By walking distance we will visit one of the most intriguing parts on the tour of the Kraton; Tamansari, literally it means &#8220;Fragrant garden&#8221;. Over 25,000 people live within this greater Kraton compound, which contains its own market, shops, batik and silver cottage industries, schools and mosques. In the afternoon we proceed to Kotagede the old city in Yogyakarta which is well known for its art &amp; crafts industry. Here we will visit Batik and Silver Factory before a stop visit at a \u201cWayang Kulit\u201d maker, which traditional puppets, used for centuries to entertain locals with legends and fairy tales. Return to your hotel then enjoy the rest of the day free at your own leisure<\/p>\n<p>Day\u00a0 3\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0DIENG PLATEAU \u2013 BOROBUDUR TEMPLE<br \/>\nBreakfast at hotel. Early morning we drive to the Dieng Plateau (about 4 hours from Yogyakarta), to visit the oldest Hindus temple complex in Java. Dieng Plateau is the largest high land in Java, which lies at 2.093 meters above sea level. Then we continue our visit to the Beautiful Telaga Warna (colored lake), which has turquoise hues from bubbling sulphur deposits around its shores. From Telaga Warna, we continue to Sikidang Crater &#8211; a volcanic crater with steaming vents and frantically bubbling mud ponds. Then drive back to Yogyakarta via Magelang with of the visit Borobudur Temple, the most spectacular and world\u2019s biggest Buddhist monument complex, built around 800 A.D. Looming out of a patchwork of bottle-green paddies and swaying palm tops, this colossal Buddhist relic is one of the continent\u2019s marvels. After the decline of Buddhism and the shift of power to East Java, the monument was abandoned soon after its completion. For centuries the complex lay forgotten, buried under layers of volcanic ash. Climb up to the top and enjoy a wonderful view on the Menoreh Mountains. Enough time is given to stroll around the complex and to discover its beauty. Afterwards, we continue to visit the nearby located temples such as Pawon Temple and Mendut Temple. We get back to the hotel in the late afternoon.<\/p>\n<p>Day\u00a0 4\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0YOGYAKARTA \u2013 DEPARTURE<br \/>\nBreakfast at the hotel. The morning is dedicated for free at leisure until the check out time at the hotel normally at 12:00 hours.
