Trekking through the spectacular of Mamasa Valley with the great scenery and a host of traditional villages along the way. The smiling mountain area, the beautiful landscape, the unique culture, fully of endless attractions. Mamasa or mamase derives from the Mamasanese word meaning \u201clove charm\u201d or \u201clovely valley\u201d. It was given by the local people as the name of a valley on the mountain area of the regency of Mamasa. According to the local history, long ago when this valley was forest, many people came from outside to hunt and fish. It also has some traditional ancestral religion such as Ada\u2019 Mappurondo or Aluk Tomatua. It still practiced until nowadays. Every year, the Ada\u2019 Mappurondo followers still do their ceremonies, particularly after the rice harvest.<\/p>\n

Day 1 : Arrival – Makassar <\/strong>
\nUpon arrival in Hasanuddin airport \u2013 Makassar. Transfer directly to makassar to check-in to your hotel for your accommodation. After taking a while rest in your room. Then we come to pick you up for a short city and during this sightseeing tour, we visit some interesting sites ;Fort roterdam \u201cDutch historical remain\u201d, Traditional harbour of phinisi sailingboats, orchid garden and seashell collection of \u201cClara Bundt\u201d, Lunch will be served at sea-food restaurant in makassar restaurant. Back to hotel for overnight stay and dinner.<\/p>\n

Day 2 : Makassar – Mamasa <\/strong>
\nAfter breakfast at hotel. Set out on the scenic drive to Mamasa, passing through Buginese village with their typical houses. Lunch in Polewali, a small bugis port town. Mamasa is a cool mountain resort with numerous hotspring nearby. There are interesting walks among the rolling hills, rice terraces and village. Dinner and overnight in hotel.<\/p>\n

Day 3 : Mamasa Tour <\/strong>
\nAfter breakfast at hotel. We take you in a fullday excursion around Mamasa Tour, We visit the traditional house Rante buda, Kampong tawalian, Osango village, the tombs from tedong tedong minanga and the weaving centre in rantesapu bala, Lunch will be provide in local restaurant, Dinner and overnight in hotel.<\/p>\n

Day 4 : Mamasa – Toraja<\/strong>
\nAfter breakfast at hotel. Today we will take our long drive trip to Toraja with scenic drive with many pictureque stop, Lunch in polewali, Coffee stop at Puncak Lakawan overlooking a spectacular panoramic landscape. Late afternoon arrive in Toraja and check-in to hotel for your accommodation and overnight in hotel.<\/p>\n

Day 5 : Toraja Excursion<\/strong>
\nAfter breakfast, fullday excursion around Toraja, visit londa, where we can explore the burial caves, Lemo with rows of tau tau statues, and the traditional torajan village Kete kesu famous for its woodcarving. Lunch in local restaurant in front of rice field. Afternoon visiting Palawa with their typical torajan houses, sa\u2019dan the weaving centre. Dinner and overnight stay in hotel.<\/p>\n

Day 6 : Toraja Trekking<\/strong>
\nAfter breakfast, we set out on full day trecking trip from lokomata Batutumonga, enjoying superb views over rantepao and surrounding. Ideal surrounding for a picnic. Lunch will be served in local restaurant. Dinner and overnight in hotel.<\/p>\n

Day 7 : Free Programme<\/strong>
\nYou might be choose your own leisure.<\/p>\n

Day 8 : Toraja – Pare Pare – makassar Airport<\/strong>
\nAfter breakfast, We drive back to makassar. Lunch will be served in Pare Pare, afterwards transfer directly to hasanuddin airport to catch your flight for next destination.<\/p>\n
