Then dinner involved with local peoples at welcoming ceremony to welcome you, you may take apart of the ceremony. Overnight at simple guest house.<\/p>\n<p>Day 2 : Penyombaan \u2013 Trekking up to Pedukuan<br \/>\nBreakfast and start trekking pass by several rivers that floating down from the mount. On arrival in Pedukuhan, the Dukun or Shaman will do welcome ceremony. This ceremony is used for welcoming guest before enter a new forest or new rice paddy. Enjoy your time to see the real local people activities. Dinner and overnight at villager house.<\/p>\n<p>Day 3 : Pedukuhan \u2013 Penyombaan \u2013 Kudangan \u2013 Pangkalan Bun \u2013 Kumai &#8211; Park<br \/>\nBreakfast then go trekking up to see the waterfall, enjoy your time and swimming around the waterfall area. Back to the Pedukuhan, packing up and trekking down direct to Penyombaan Village drive back to Kudangan Village. Then Lunch in the local restaurant. On arrival in Pangkalan Bun direct transfer to Kumai to board on the boat. The boat is a traditional Klotok wooden river boat. Go to explore the quite river by the Klotok while observe the monkeys along the riverside. Dinner and overnight on the boat.<\/p>\n<p>Day 4 : Park &#8211; Pondok Tanggui &#8211; Camp Leakey &#8211; Boat<br \/>\nBreakfast and prepare to boat to Pondok Tanguy, the third rehabilitation center for orangutans, then continuing boating a side creek through tea colored water where you will see the magnificent reflection from the vegetation along the river, when lucky with us, the fresh water crocodile and other wildlife attraction could find a long river bank. Arrive at Camp Leakey which is known as Rehabilitation center and research center for Orangutan. Short Trekking through tropical rainforest searching for wildlife as well as tropical jungle plant. Back to the boat for lunch then witness feeding time for old rehabilitation orangutan given additional foods. Jungle River Tour: Rungan River &#8211; Dayak Tribe (3 Days)<\/strong><br \/>\nCome on explore Central Kalimantan for a relaxing jungle river journey on the Rungan River. Travel through magical reflections to traditional Dayak village and experience their riverside lifestyle.<\/p>\n<p>ITINERARY:<br \/>\nDAY 01: RAHAI\u2019I PANGUN \u2013 PALANGKARAYA \u2013 TUMBANG TAHAI \u2013 PULAU PALLAIS<br \/>\nPick up from airport, and transfer direct to the Rahai\u2019i Pangun. After cruising through Palangkaraya then boating pass some villages, orangutan islands along the jungle lined river. On the morning, have lunch, then take canoes, Klotoks , for forest walk on a small island and to explore ox bow lake system.<\/p>\n<p>Boat moves to Tumbang Tahai and moors opposite Pulau Pallais, to see orangutans in their natural habitat on BOS Release Island. Then some walk to Bukit Tangkling and to Batu Banama sacred rock and spirit houses or to Catholic Convent for view over Tangkiling hills and region. Next to return to the boat for Dinner.<\/p>\n<p>DAY 02: BOS ORANGUTAN EDUCATION<br \/>\nBreakfast and transfer by canoe to the Arboretum boardwalk and BOS Orangutan Education Centre to see orangutans in the BOS Rehabilitation program. Return to the boat and continue down river to Bukit Rawi.<br \/>\nCome back to Palangkaraya.
