Register at the Rinjani Information Center in Sembalun Lawang The trek starts from Sembalun Lawang with a gentle ascent walking through the path is quite rough and tropical forest .Spend the nights at Palawangan.II (camping).<\/p>\n<p>Day 02\u00a0 PALAWANGAN.II &#8211; SEGARA ANAK LAKE<br \/>\nAt 3 hours am ascent to summit of mount Rinjani (3.726m) on volcanic screen. Once there, enjoy proud feelings of satisfaction and the amazing sunrise views across Lombok , Bali, Mt. Agung and Sumbawa, and down to the lake Segara Anak (2.000m) within the Rinjani crater. Mt. Baru (2.351m) is an island in the lake and an active volcano, Camp on the beach crater lake. Afternoon is free for swimming in the warm water of the lake and nearby hot spring.<\/p>\n<p>Day 03\u00a0 SEGARA ANAK LAKE &#8211; PALAWANGAN I SENARU<br \/>\nAfter breakfast leave the lake and climb for two hours up to Pelawangan I crater rim (2.461m). After lunch enjoy the views of the lake from the other side, relax, explore and wait the sunset. If the wind is cold, you may prefer to descend two hours to Pos 3 Mondokon Lolak and camp in the more sheltered forest.<\/p>\n<p>Day 04\u00a0 PELAWANGAN. I &#8211; SENARU &#8211; LOMBOK<br \/>\nAfter breakfast descend down the long trail to Senaru Village (601m), through thick tropical forests rich in flora, bird life and a variety of butterflies. You might see orchid and, if lucky, the rare black ebony leaf monkey, known locally as lutung.
