On Sumbawa there is an island which is the most densely populated in Indonesia and even one of the most densely populated in the world called Bungin Island.

Bungin Island is part of the administrative area of Alas District, Sumbawa Regency, West Nusa Tenggara.

The island is so exotic and beautiful, thanks to its uniqueness and biodiversity.

To visit it, it takes about six hours from Mataram City, including a trip across from Khayangan Harbor, Lombok Island, to Poto Tano Harbor, Sumbawa Island.

Along with the incessant regional development, now to reach Bungin Island, you can use a motorbike or a car. This is because the local government has built an embankment from a rock structure that connects Bungin Island to the mainland.
