Hoga Island is known as an island that has a hidden underwater paradise in Wakatobi. The island, located in the eastern part of Kaledupa Island, Wakatobi Regency, Southeast Sulawesi Province, has a wealth of marine life that has attracted the attention of many foreign researchers.
Hoga Island is one of the favorite destinations for visitors visiting the Wakatobi National Park. If you visit here, you will get a calm island atmosphere, far from the crowds with a view of the reconciled palm trees.
Because of its location in the middle of the sea, there are no flights that take travelers directly to Hoga Island. If you want to enjoy all the charms of Hoga Island, the trip can be done if you are already in the Wangi-Wangi Island area which is included in the Wakatobi area. From Sultan Hassanudin Airport, Makassar, the plane will take you to Matahora Airport, located on Wangi-wangi Island. Within a week there are about 4 flights to the island which is a destination for many tourists from various countries.
After reaching the Matahora Airport area, the journey will continue on the land route to get to the Kadelupa Pier. To get to Kadelupa Pier, you can rent a car with varying prices. The more friends you invite, the cheaper the rental price. After arriving at the dock, you will board a ship that takes everyone to Hoga Island. The journey from Kadelupa Pier to the Hoga Island area is around 2.5 hours with calm and peaceful sea conditions.
