    Beautiful Sunset On The Top of Wantiro Hill



    The location of Baubau City, Southeast Sulawesi that is right on the beach offers beautiful views of the ocean. Not only Kotamara, Wantiro Hill also becomes one of the alternatives hangout places for young people or families in Baubau City. This hill becomes a favorite spot that is visited by the people of Baubau and its surroundings. Wantiro Hill is located in Warumusio Beach area, Kokalukuna District, Bau-Bau City, Southeast Sulawesi Province. Wantiro means 'looking down' because this location overlooks Warumusio Beach which is below it. From this hill, visitors also can see the inflammation to Baubau Bay and Makassar Island.

    Many visitors from Buton district, Pasarwajo district, Pasarwajo urban village, admitted that they often came to Wantiro Hill with their families every weekend. Good place of Wantiro Hill makes the kids love to come because the scenery is directly faces the sea. On the top of Wantiro Hill, many traders sell fried snacks and hot drinks at affordable prices. They also provide plastic tables and chairs lined up neatly to sit in the afternoon and evening.

    Wantiro Hill has a great view. Many visitors make this hill as a place to hang out on Saturday or Sunday afternoon. From this hill, it looks clearly visible sunlight that is sank. The beauty of the sunset and the sea breeze make visitors with friends feel at home to sit for long. Visitors usually come at around 15:00 pm. However, visitors sometimes still feel at home hanging out in this hill until the evening. In the evening, visitors enjoy the Wantiro Hill until at 22:00 or 23:00 pm. Security around the area is good because many lamps are light in the hill area and police officers often patrol the area.




    Wantiro Hill was created by the City Government of Baubau City in 2008 that could attract tourists to come and visit Baubau City.
