Habibie Peak is the highest road that connecting Sukabumi (West Java) with Lebak Regency (Banten). The exact location is in the Pasirbaru Village, District Cisolok, Ratu Port. This peak is located at an altitude of about 380 mdpl. This place is mentioned to be the best spot to enjoy the sunrise in Sukabumi. The panoramic is direct to the blue ocean. The scenery of fisherman boats going back and forth in Ujunggenteng Bay are also very clear. Although the distance between Ratu Port and Habibie Peak is only about 18 kilometers and it can be reached in 30 minutes. The sunrise "hunters" are generally depart from Ratu Port at 03.30 pm because they don't want to miss the moment of sunrise in this peak.

There are many versions of the name of Habibie Peak. Some said that the naming was because the third president of Indonesia, BJ Habibie, had the land and villas in the area. However, there was also a saying that the name was used because in that place, there was the office of Industri Pesawat Terbang Nusantara (IPTN), which now becomes PT Dirgantara Indonesia (DI). But certainly from the first, people called the place as Habibie Peak or Habibie Hill.
