    Temajuk Village at Temajuk Island of Borneo



    Temajuk is a village located in the north western of Borneo Island, is just 4 km from Telok Melano, Malaysia. Administratively, located in Paloh District, Sambas Regency of West Kalimantan bordering Malaysia. The village has a very long coastline which is about 60 km, stretching along the coast to Temajuk Village frequented by sea turtles to lay their eggs.

    To reach Temajuk Village, traveling by motorcycle from Singkawang, takes a travel time of about 6 hours, with a distance of about 200 km. The trip starts from Singkawang towards Sambas, then take the path towards Kartiasa.

    Arriving at Kartiasa, we cross the river using the ferry destination Kalong Bay with a tariff of Rp 5,000 per motorcycle or USD 35,000 if the use of private cars. Arriving at the other side, we continue the trip toward Paloh. The road condition is still good and paved until Liku Village.

    With unspoiled beaches, coastal tidal exotic, white sand stretching area, a cluster of beautiful granite rocks and granite boulders blends exotic rocks extending towards Tanjung Datuk which became the border between Indonesia and Malaysia. Typical landscape beach indulged every eye that visit there.

    You can also enjoy the underwater scenery by using a snorkel in Atong Bay. The cluster of granite rocks from small to very large you can encounter in Batu Pipih location, not far from Atong Bay.
