Simping island formerly was known as Kelapa Dua Island, located in Mak Jantu Bay, Sinka Island Park area, Singkawang, West Kalimantan.

What makes Simping island so unique is the fact that it is the World's Smallest Island. This has been recorded by the United Nations (UN), and thus its existence as the world's smallest island is recognized by the international community, as seen a on the status board of the island, right on the bridge crossing to the island. Simping island actually consists of sand and rocks overgrown with some trees on it. This tiny island also has beautiful views of the beach, sea and surrounding hills. It is therefore not surprising that, although very small, the island is never short of visitors.

Simping island is easily accessible, from Pontianak to Sinka Island Park only takes about 3-4 hours by intercity bus transportation services or car towards Singkawang. Mak Jantu Bay, Sinka Zoo and Island Park are all located in one location. This area is included in the conservation areas and protected forests. To go across to the island is not difficult because there is a bridge connecting it to the beach, so you can reach it on foot. Meanwhile,from Singkawang to Sinka island park only takes about 20 minutes.
