How to Make Photo Collages From Your Travel Pictures

Making a photo collage is an excellent way to organize a set of memories into a beautiful bouquet of images. Not only is it
practical, it can also be a way to demonstrate your artistic creativity. In the past, constructing a collage required trimming
and damaging your photos to fit them into a single shape. However, with a computer and the right digital software, you can
construct and deconstruct your memories into a variety of different patterns. Just follow this step by step guide and you will
be on your way to assemble a wonderful and beautiful pastiche of cherished memories.

Step 1 - Download the Software

First, download a collage software to your desktop or a designated folder. Next, open the program. A blank page will open up.
This is the canvas of your collage. You can resize it to fit your needs.

Step 2 - Choose a Template

On the left window of your collage is a Template tab. Click it and a number of templates will appear. Select the one you like by
double-clicking the template or dragging it to the collage.

Step 3 - Choose a Background

If you don't like the background that comes with the template, you can also select the Background tab and choose a new one.

Step 4 - Add Your Photos

Now that we have the template and background set, it's time to add the photos. Click the Photo button on the left of your
collage and open the photo pane. Next, select the photos from your computer and add them to the collage area. You can now move,
resize, crop, and even rotate the photos to your liking.

By selecting the Mask tab on the left, you will have the option of selecting from a number of masks that you can apply to the

Step 6 - Add a Frame

left part of the collage. Select a frame and double-click it to add it to your collage.

Step 7 - Add Clipart

If you'd like to add some clipart to your collage, select the Clipart pane and add it accordingly. The dynamic software lets you
resize, drag, and position the clipart to make collage crafting intuitive and fun.

Step 8 - Add Text

To make collage text, click Collage menu and then Add Text on the drop-down menu. You can also click the Add button and click
Add Text in the window menu. The program allows you to manipulate font size, color, and the background of your text.

Step 9 - Save and Print

Lastly, move your pointer to the top menu and click on File, then click on Save As in the drop-down menu. Choose a filename and
save. If you'd like to print your collage, go to File then click Print.
