Bali is the most famous island in Indonesia and become the biggest island of the province itself. There are also some other small islands in part of Bali like Nusa Penida Island, Nusa Lembongan Island, Nusa Ceningan Island, Serangan Island.

Bali is located between Java Island and Lombok, Java to the west and Lombok to the east. Denpasar is the capital and administrative area of this Province. Bali has around 280 species of birds, including the critically endangered Bali Starling, one of the rarest birds in the world. Others are: Barn Swallow, Black-naped Oriole, Black Racket-tailed Treepie, Crested Serpent-eagle, Crested Treeswift, Dollarbird, Java Sparrow, Lesser Adjutant, Long-tailed Shrike, Milky Stork, Pacific Swallow, Red-rumped Swallow, Sacred Kingfisher, Sea Eagle, Woodswallow, Savanna Nightjar, Stork-billed Kingfisher, Yellow-vented Bulbul, White Heron, Great Egret. Until the beginning of the 20th century, Bali was home to some large animals such as the wild Banteng, Leopard and even the Bali tiger. Unfortunately, Bali Tiger was completely disappear since the last founded on 1937.

At three decades ago, Bali was growing with its agricultural things as their economic commodity, but nowadays tourism is the main potential economic commodity. In fact, Bali nowadays is one of Indonesia’s wealthiest regions.

Hinduism is the major religion that being hold by the people, this is related as mentioned that early Bali tradition is affected by India culture. Moreover, Bali has very sophisticated art and culture divining by their sculpture, their painting, woodcarving, handicraft and also performing art.
