In the tourism sector, the Special Region of Aceh has considerable potential to be developed better, especially eco-tourism, marine tourism, and travel history. Another tourist attraction is the Gunung Leuser Park which has many rivers the rapids, which is attractive to foreign and domestic tourists. Similarly, the cultural richness of customs and traditional arts, dance and so will add to the interest of foreign and domestic tourists to visit there. If managed properly, it will increase the tourism potential income Acehnese people who work in tourism.

Increased economic growth and welfare of the Acehnese people in desperate need of major investment. But the limited ability of government investment. It required the investment community, including the business world, both from within and outside the country. Now the challenges faced by both the Provincial Government of Aceh and district / city is how to create a business climate to attract investors from within and abroad and other businesses.
